Behavioral Supports
Starlight Support Services, LLC offers comprehensive behavioral support services designed to address challenging behaviors while promoting skill development and long-term success.
Our services include:
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA): Identifying the underlying causes and functions of behavior through observation, data collection, and team collaboration
- Behavior Support Plans (BSP): Developing individualized, function-based plans that focus on prevention, teaching replacement skills, and consistent response strategies
- Ongoing Monitoring & Plan Updates: Regular review of data and progress to ensure interventions remain effective and appropriate
- Crisis Support & Planning: Developing proactive and reactive strategies to ensure safety and reduce escalation.
Our approach focuses on teaching individuals how to communicate their needs, regulate emotions, and successfully navigate daily expectations, rather than simply reducing behaviors.
In-Home & Community Supports
We provide individualized supports within the home and community to help individuals build independence and successfully engage in everyday activities.
Supports may include:
- Developing daily living skills (hygiene, cooking, cleaning)
- Increasing community integration (shopping, appointments, social activities)
- Building routines and structure
- Assisting with transitions and schedule changes
- Promoting independence and decision-making skills
All supports are aligned with the Individual’s Support Plan and are implemented in a way that promotes consistency, confidence, and skill generalization across environments.
Caregiver Training & Supports
Effective behavior support depends on consistent implementation. That’s why, at Starlight Support Services, LLC, we provide hands-on training and ongoing support to caregivers and companions.
Training includes:

School Partnerships & IEP Supports
Starlight Support Services, LLC collaborates with school districts to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and provide individualized behavior consultation in alignment with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), supporting the development and implementation of effective behavior intervention strategies within the Individualized Education Program (IEP) to promote student success in the least restrictive environment.
